Grants and Contracts Manager
FLSA: Full-time, non-exempt


Job Summary
The Grants and Contracts Manager will provide administrative support and coordination throughout
the duration of the grant seeking process as well as monitoring grants and contracts awarded to the
organization.


 

Duties/Responsibilities
● Monitors financial administration of grants to ensure that proper documentation is
submitted for expenditures and that requests for funds are made within time limitations
specified.
● Manage the monthly invoicing process for multiple grants and contracts. Ensures timely
invoicing and reimbursements into the organization.
● Researches and prepares grant proposals; ensuring that submissions are timely and focus
on the conditions, restrictions, and goals of the opportunity.
● Works with staff and subawards to ensure understanding of the necessity of following
proper procedures in achieving project goals, and financial tracking,
● other duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities
● Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.


Education And Experience
● Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field, or at least three (3)
years of experience in related field,
● Ability to work independently


Physical Requirements
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. • Must be able to lift to 15 -
25 pounds at times
• Obtain and maintain all clearances and certifications
• Valid Driver’s License and use of vehicle
