Outreach Specialist 

A mission-driven Outreach Specialist is needed to support community engagement, recruitment, and program delivery, with a focus on the HERE4U Mobile Learning Program. This role involves bringing educational and mentoring resources directly to communities via a mobile outreach vehicle. The ideal candidate is organized, strategic, and skilled in engaging diverse groups. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the Outreach Specialist will play a key role in increasing visibility, connecting community members to resources, and strengthening partnerships.

 

Responsibilities

 

🔹 Community Engagement & Outreach

    •    Develop and execute recruitment strategies for mentors, volunteers, and families.

    •    Lead outreach efforts through the HERE4U Mobile Learning Program, delivering educational workshops and resources.

    •    Build partnerships with local organizations, faith-based groups, and schools.

    •    Represent the organization at public events and speaking engagements.

    •    Create culturally responsive outreach materials.

 

📋 Program Coordination

    •    Oversee and manage the HERE4U Mobile Learning Program, ensuring smooth execution.

    •    Develop and deliver programming through the mobile outreach vehicle, including workshops and mentorship sessions.

    •    Plan, execute, and evaluate community events.

    •    Maintain shared tools like event trackers and program schedules.

    •    Train volunteers and community members for effective engagement.

 

📊 Data Collection & Reporting

    •    Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, attendance, and feedback.

    •    Analyze community needs to inform outreach strategy.

    •    Provide data insights for grant reporting and program evaluation.

 

🤝 Collaboration & Professional Development

    •    Work across departments to align outreach with organizational goals.

    •    Participate in professional development in community engagement and project management.

    •    Attend staff meetings and strategy sessions.

 

📌 Education, Experience & Certifications

    •    🎓 Associate degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.

    •    💻 Proficiency in Microsoft Office (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).

    •    🏡 2+ years of experience working with marginalized communities.

    •    📋 Familiarity with project management and data tracking tools.

    •    🚗 Valid PA driver’s license with a clean record.

    •    🏥 CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
